It's Almost Trip Time!!

Are YOU getting really REALLY excited?!? We're less than three weeks away from leaving on our trip! Oh Boy!

Remember, we're ALL going to get together for a really important meeting, to make sure everyone knows what to do. You and at least one of your adults MUST come.

Monday, March 11, in the THS Library, at 7:30 pm.

EVERYONE WHO IS GOING MUST BE AT THE MEETING. PERIOD. NO EXCUSES. NO ONE CARES IF YOU HAVE:
  • A DATE
  • A LESSON
  • AN APPOINTMENT
  • A CLASS
  • A JOB
  • A TEST
  • A RASH
  • A HEADACHE
  • A BACKACHE
  • OR ANYTHING ELSE.

Whatever it is, cancel it. And don't bring us a note from your mother, "excusing" you from the meeting. All that will tell us is that your mother thinks you don't have to follow directions. And that is not correct.

See you March 11!

Time To Choose Roommates!!

Our trip is right around the corner - how exciting! And now, you get to decide about roommates. Here's how it works:

  • Write down, on a full-sized piece of paper, your roommate choices. You must write down your name, and your roommate choices. You may submit names that total 2 to a room, or 4 to a room. Please DO NOT turn in a list with 3 names on it - if there are three of you, you MUST find a fourth before you submit your list.
  • Each of your roommates must sign the list.
  • Turn in your signed list to McKee. (Where's McKee? In Room 215, in the Upper Rotunda)
  • PLEASE NOTE: You MAY NOT room with your special someone.
  • Don't care who you room with? Please write that on a piece of paper, and turn that in to McKee.

Roommate choices MUST be submitted NO LATER THAN 6PM, Monday January 29 (Yes, McKee will be at the school that evening - WG rehearsal, you know...)

Let's Take a Trip - Oh Boy!

Hello, Band friends!

It is our custom to go on a music education tour every other year, and our very favorite place to go is Disneyland! And, if YOU are in one of our performance groups, YOU can go too!

This is the spot to find out all the information on the trip, as it becomes available. Here's what will happen:

  • We travel during the 1st half of Spring Break - tentatively leaving on Saturday March 23 and coming home Tuesday March 26
  • There will be a recording/instruction clinic for all members
  • There MAY be a parade performance as well!
  • There will be performances we will watch
  • And of course, we will ride rides!

Uh, McKee - what's this going to cost??

Like our most recent trip,  the cost will be approximately $950. That includes air and ground transportation, hotel (with daily breakfasts), and Disney admission (including recording session clinic and possible performance).

SO, DO YOU THINK YOU WANT TO GO?? We need you to respond RIGHT NOW to let us know, so that we can let the airlines know. This is NOT a firm commitment from you, but it will give us a good indication of how many plane tickets we will need. Please, CLICK HERE to fill out the Google Form to give us the information we need.

Take a look at the sidebar for important links, including the ever-important payment schedule.

Remember, BOOKMARK THIS PAGE and return to it frequently, as we will be adding a TON of information. Everything you need to know will be here!
